When the sun is out during the Summer we all suddenly develop these lofty ideas of beautiful flowery gardens and luscious green indoor plants.

However, a lot of us lack the green thumb to make our green dreams a reality. Well, just because you don’t own a pair of gardening gloves or shears doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate plants into your home. All you need are “Easy Plants”. You know, plants that are impossible to kill.

If you’ve just moved into a new home bringing in plants can make the difference in actually making it feel like home. So when you find yourself in a bit of pickle: needing some green in your life but not having the time or gloves to turn your home floral, refer back here. I have a few ideas to help out.

I’ve detailed 5 different plants you can grow indoors with minimal effort!

  • Air Plants

These plants are aptly named “Air Plants”. If you are the kind of person who forgets to water your plants, air plants are for you – they can survive solely on air and a little misting here and there!

  • Cacti

When it comes to the easiest plants to keep alive, cacti are it! Though the different varieties may have different requirements, they are famous as the plants of the desert for a reason!

  • Succulents

Succulents are becoming a favorite for indoor plants. Mini succulents have the advantage of adding texture and color to your home while not taking up much space.

  • Aloe Vera

Aloe plants require very little water and look very interesting. Not mention with the summer coming up, your plant can also double as sunburn treatment!

  • Moss Terrariums

Moss Terrariums are becoming more and more common. They bring a sense of the outdoors inside. They can be kept in virtually any room regardless of the amount of sunlight the room gets. Moreover, you only need to give it a good spritzing to keep your moss moist and healthy!
