Cut Down Before Packing Up

When you purchase real estate, what you want is to start fresh and move forward into your best life; it can be hard to feel like we’re doing this when we bring so much baggage with us – literally.

Over the years we accumulate so many products and items that are hardly-used and then just sit there.

Here are a few places to focus on paring down before a move:

  • Bathroom

One of the worst culprits. Different products build up over time and find their way to the back of drawers or the top shelves of cabinets and we forget about them.

The last thing we want to do when moving into a new home is bring all of that unused stuff with us! Not to mention many of those products are flammable or can spill and stain other belongings.

  • DIY Supplies

We all have that bag full of gift bags and still-okay wrapping paper to re-gift in the future. Most of your craft supplies can be donated to charity or given to a hobby store.

Those bags and papers will just take up space when packing.

  • The Garage

Old furniture, old gardening items, old clothes. Every unneeded item we own that ends up in the garage is not worth the time and moving supplies.

Donate what is still in good condition, you may even find some items worth selling. However, if you forgot it was there, chances are you won’t miss it.
